  1. Set-up Equipment - Prefer using a zoom lens instead of a prime lens. Also, choose a lower ISO for the outside environment while doing outdoor candid photography. For candid photoshoot indoors, you can try higher ISO. 

  2. Do no use flash - It is not a good idea to use the camera flash as it might grab a lot of your attention. Use the natural light as much as possible. 

  3. Click without looking through the lens - You know you can click a candid photo without looking through the lens. Well, just hang your camera lower and click discreetly without alerting the subject. 

  4. Lock for emotions - Try locking your camera on your subject’s face as long as you don’t get the emotions that you need for the candid picture.
